RED TOP REVIEWRonaldo is King Creosote Those at Murrayfield last night must have thought that watching a
wonderful Barcelona performance against Hibs was the main football event in the country. They were wrong. Portuguese footballing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is on the front of all three red tops this morning. Not because of another twist in the will he/won't he saga over a transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid. No, because of his holiday suntan. Things have got so amazing according to The Daily Record that the tanned superstar "has left Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood's notorious tan well and truly in the shade." The Daily Mirror says: "Ron now looks like a sausage" and asks "Can Ron get any browner?" The Sun, meanwhile, describes his bronzed look as "Cristiano Creosote".

Perhaps the best - in The Sun and Daily Mirror - is about bride Emma Dunn who bought her wedding dress for £2.50 on eBay. The frock was actually worth more than £1,000, according to the paper, but was snapped up for a bargain on the auction site. In another money-saving move guests tucked into a cake from M&S that cost £70.

The player was apparently advertising for a flatmate on Facebook and the request said he would "ideally like a single lady who is easy on the eye and enjoys cooking and cleaning". The player wouldn't speak to the paper but a friend said the posting was "a laugh" and a housemate had been found.

EDF is looking to agree a deal with Centrica to take a minority stake in the company, although the terms have yet to be decided. The source said it was hoped a deal would be agreed by next week.
British Energy, 35% owned by the UK Government, has attracted takeover interest since Britain gave the green light to new nuclear power stations in January. The company owns eight power stations, all of which have surrounding land suitable for new building.
The 775p price would value British Energy at £12.4bn. Its shares closed up 6.2% at 729p on Thursday, valuing it at £11.7bn – well above a previous EDF offer rejected by British Energy.

Locks What a wonderful, lustrous head of hair Kevin Costner has. Must be great genes in that family that lets them keep all their hair - and their colour - well into their fifties.
FrocksMaggie Gyllenhaal has taken our advice on the frock front, although I don't think there's any need for her to impersonate the Dark Knight with the cape thingy.
ShocksWe love a child star and we doubly love a child star with attitude - they're such a joy to work with, no? Little Madeleine Carroll shows she's got plenty with the tartan and the bovver boots.
SPORTBy Graham BeanMurray faces huge challengeAndy Murray knows he will need one of the best victories of his career tonight if he is to beat Novak Djokovic and reach the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup in the Toronto Masters series.
The British No.1 battled to a 6-2 0-6 6-4 win over Stanislas Wawrinka in the third round yesterday but will need to improve if he is to progress further.
Third seed Djokovic is the defending champion and will be looking for his sixth straight victory against his fellow 21-year-old – with Murray winning only 10 games in their last three meetings. While Murray progressed in the singles, he and older brother Jamie were eliminated in their second-round doubles match against Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic, losing 7-6 (7/3) 6-4.
