Bit of a curate's egg, this one – very good in parts with a few boring bits that are easily avoided. It represents ten years' worth of slog by artist Craig Robinson, an Englishman living in Washington state. We recommend you head right to his Disenchanted Forest, a gently silly animation featuring two disgruntled trees.
Then try Pete and Bob, the dancing owls. Especially the episode entitled Bob's Experimental Period. The year of streets is visually uninteresting, but a nifty premise: so many streets around the world are named after dates that you can nearly bag an entire year, if you travel enough or you're especially good at geography. And the photographs of plastic bags stuck up trees are oddly compelling, as is his collection of photos of the back ends of white vans that, to him, resemble skulls.
