Lunar flight goal by 2020 for Russia

RUSSIA'S space agency has ordered design work to start for a next-generation spaceship capable of Moon missions.
The space agency granted the state-controlled RKK Energiya company the £16 million contract for the initial work on a reusable craft to replace the 40-year-old Soyuz spacecraft.

The agency said the spacecraft would make its maiden flight before 2020.

If the human race doesn't do something daft like wipe itself out I wonder where the space program will be in two or three hundred years time. Makes the mind boggle just thinking about it.

Russia have set their targets high so good luck to them. This is worth the money on, not war.

I have to wonder why the Americans havn't got to Mars yet. So Russia never mind the moon, reach for Mars.
