CHARACTERS from The Simpsons and a female mannequin perched on a toilet have made it on to this year's Turner Prize shortlist.
Four artists, Runa Islam, Mark Leckey, Goshka Macuga and Cathy Wilkes, have been selected to vie for the controversial art prize. Leckey, 43 featured cartoon character Marge Simpson in his work last year.
