Boys were 1.8 times as likely (42.3% versus 23%) and girls were 1.5 times as likely (36.5% versus 23.6%).

After controlling for socio-economic status, level of communication with parents, educational levels and age at menarche for girls, the comparative odds of underage sex actually increased to 2.29 for boys and 1.65 for girls.

Compared to young adults from two-natural parent households, young men from lone-parent households were 1.8 times as likely to have foregone contraception at first intercourse (13.6% versus 7.5%) and young women were 1.75 times as likely (16.1% versus 9.2%).

After controlling for other factors, these comparative odds were reduced to 1.11 for men and 1.23 for women.

Girls from lone-parent households were 1.6 times as likely to become mothers before the age of 18 (11% versus 6.8%).

Controlling for other factors did not reduce the comparative odds.

Many highly intelligent females have worked their way through Uni by selling sexual wares some way or other. Possibly later in life turned into crabby staid academics. So what is new?? Intelligent people use what resources are available and do not need advice from the lame. Intelligence means the ability to use your noodle and not how many Harry Potter books you can read in an hour.

Womens job is screw and nurture. Mans Job is to screw and provide. Anything else like personal achievement is icing on the cake.

Nature seeks out agressive biological advantage. What I really can;t be bothered with is narrow minded people who think one kind of advantage or breeding strategy is better than another.

The key thing is not whether you pursue a career, academic achievent, harmony, a good home or sexual power. The key is how much drive and commitment you do it with and how well you come out of it at the end because the only thing that matters at the end of it is how much power and money do you have in order to give your offspring the best advantage.

If sex is your forte then go for it. If it's brains - more power to you. Feminists have this ludicrous idea that all women ought to be academicised and that sex is dirty and demeaning unless it's on their terms. This in itself is a breeding strategy. With regard to how women or girls behave as being condusive to their own rape, I think it important to cite my own experience with my sons and the sexualized culture. The constant thrust of liberalized media attitudes (better suited for the pre-AIDS era) or the seeming glorification of celebrity mis-adventures does, i believe, lead to growing boys and girls becoming calloused and often misled about what girls-in-general want or value. My youngest son had the misperception that all girls his age were "in heat" and had little control over their desires and that most girls were "wanting it" badly -- as their culture-copying behaviors (e.g., thongs, tattoos, piercings, etc.) seemed to suggest. It's a valid point therefore that the adultish culture invading our children's lives can lead girls to think something other than chasity is truly expected of them...and lead boys to think girls expect to be pressured aggressively to engage in sex, whether it's protected intercourse, heated foreplay, or forcible rape. These impressions do have profound effects on their well-being. And if too many boys out there in the girls dating world are convinced that her 'no' is really a reluctant 'yes'...then this problem will probably get much worse.

This makes me realize how lucky I was to be
