Look To The Rainbow

By way of contrast with the wonderful 'Girl From Ipanema' and the better tracks from Gilberto's debut album, this 1965 album largely exemplifies questionable taste. Her charmingly imperfect vocals are fully exposed amid Gil Evans's arrangements. That said, the ballads, especially the title track, work better than the up-tempo songs, which are diabolical cacophonies.
