This is an enjoyable debut from the one time sideman of Scottish whimsy popsters Aberfeldy. Yes it may suffer slightly from split musical personalities, with the opening title track aiming for a complexity that is just too ambitious for Bradley to pull off. When he is being sweet with his falsetto on songs such as 'Treehouse' or 'Bring Your Trouble To The Mountain', he sounds like Graham Nash playing at the top of his register, though the rather earthier 'To Your Darkness' gets buried by his gruffness.
