Perhaps in the pre-iPod era, compilation CDs of wedding-themed music would have been a good bet for couples seeking inspiration, but these days you can devise your own romantic mix. This compilation is a fairly bland and predictable blend of soulfully sung songs – Jane Monheit and Ray Charles are among the vocalists represented. There are also a few more interesting piano numbers, including ballads by McCoy Tyner and Michel Camilo.
