OKAY, I'm willing to admit that I could have been wrong. I have written in the past that the new Terminator movie would be so bad as to make its equally lamentable predecessor look like The Godfather. Well, here is an incredibly long trailer for the
film and I have to confess that against all odds it looks rather exciting. No, really. I mean, I may be wrong, but any film company that is willing to risk a four-minute trailer must be pretty confident. As far as I can tell, this seems to have everything you could want: explosions, killer robots, great effects AND a plot. Perhaps it was worth putting up with shouty old Christian Bale's tantrums after all.

CINEMA BUFF'S HEAVEN

EXCELLENT "one stop shop" for movie reviews and news, the incredibly clunkily titled Movie Review Query Engine essentially locates all the reviews and news relating to individual films and collects them together for your delectation. I punched in Swedish teen vamp hit Let the Right One In and it coughed up 150 reviews, six blog entries and two news hits, plus another four articles on the forthcoming US remake. How dispiriting is that? A hit film that is barely out of the cinema and Hollywood decides it can do better. It also gives you a plot synposis and average ratings. Everything you need to improve your viewing pleasure.

JOY FOR COULROPHOBICS

ONE for clown haters everywhere. This extremely strange beer site seems to consist of clowns getting offed in various ways. The wood chipper clip is particularly funny. Don't worry, there's lots of glitter and balloons, and they're all still laughing right to the bitter end.

TRUCKASAURUS RETURNS

A FUN little game from the Ronseal school of titles. 'Extreme Trucks' is essentially a very old-school scrolling-style gamer. Get your pneumatically-loaded car up and over the hills – or through the water. It's not as easy as you'd imagine, but it's fun enough to keep you trying and trying.
