2 VISUAL ART: BOUCHER AND CHARDIN, MASTERS OF MODERN MANNERS Curated by Anne Dulau, this is a small but well-chosen exhibition of paintings of domestic scenes by Chardin, Boucher and some of their 18th-century contemporaries, which offer a fascinating portrait of, in particular, women's home lives. The pictures, especially Boucher's, are a study in fashionable taste and are full of beautifully rendered exotic objects.

3 THEATRE: AN IDEAL HUSBANDKate O'Mara, Fenella Fielding and Tony Britton star in Peter Hall's West End production of Oscar Wilde's brilliantly witty 1895 play, a tale of blackmail, political corruption, public and private honour. The play is showing in Aberdeen all this week.

4 OPERA: THE TWO WIDOWSScottish Opera is to be praised for bringing an obscure work back to life, but subtle, imaginative stagecraft is not this production's priority, at least it wasn't on its Edinburgh debut. Still, there are stirring moments, and one beautifully extended scene featuring Jane Irwin (as Anezka) is show-stopping.

5 THEATRE: CALENDAR GIRLSThis is the stage version of the hit 2003 movie, based on the true story of a Yorkshire Women's Institute, who made a nude calendar to raise money for cancer research. Elaine C Smith, Lynda Bellingham and Patricia Hodge are among the cast getting their kit off – briefly and tastefully – for art and a good cause.

6 MUSIC: GLEN CAMPBELLThe easy-listening country kingpin, best known for his evergreen interpretations of Jimmy Webb songs such as the classic Wichita Linesman, tackles the thoroughly modern likes of Green Day, Foo Fighters and Travis on new album Meet Glen Campbell; expect to hear some of those songs on this tour.

7 VISUAL ART: THE FRONT ROWAmy Whiten and Alistair Wyllie's small west-end gallery, Recoat, continues to prosper, with another new show opening this weekend, consisting of new work by eight illustrators and new fashion designs inspired by classic couture. Artists include Micca Okada, Katy Smail and Whiten herself.

8 EVENT: FOUND Found is an American magazine and website consisting of odd, abandoned notes, letters, photos and other things that readers have found and submitted. It's a quirky, sometimes poignant museum of the stuff of people's lives, and now it's on a tour, with music, chat and the inevitable slideshow.

9 THEATRE: VIDEOTAPEInspired by the Radiohead song of the same name, this new lunchtime play by Glasgow-based writer Oliver Emanuel sees a woman following a man through a city, recording his every move on video, in a story about "love, loss, truth and lies, and the things we can't throw away".

10 FILM: UNRELATEDBritish writer-director Joanna Hogg makes a striking debut with a quiet, understated, truthful and beautifully composed drama about a fortysomething woman (an astonishing performance by Kathryn Worth) trying to hold herself together as her marriage appears to be splintering.
