£5m centre boost in superbug fight

A NEW research centre which will lead the fight against MRSA and other superbugs is to be established in Scotland as part of an £8.5 million boost for biomedical sciences.
The £5 million facility will be part of St Andrews University's biomedical sciences research complex.

Excellent! But not before time. Research into HAIs has been starved of funds for far too long. CHAI in Nottingham University has also recently received grants for C difficile and other much needed research. Let's work together to eradicate these harmful bugs which can leave discharged hospital patients in a worse state than they were in before their operations and treatments.

Will someone ask Gray and Baillie what they think on this,will they be calling Ms Sturgeon for a public inquiry about spending all this money.
