GUIDE dog puppies Murphy and Mags take time off from training to play with their owner John Howie.
The trio – and fully trained guide dog Justin – were out to enjoy the Guide Dogs for the Blind Open Day at the weekend.
The national charity costs £1 million a week to run but is vital for so many people who are blind or severely visually impaired.
It depends on volunteers for many things from fund-raising to campaigning.
The charity has also been appealing for people in Edinburgh and the Lothians to become puppy walkers.
Volunteers are needed to care for pups from six weeks to around 14 months.
