McGhee relaxed for opener

MOTHERWELL hope to have two new players in their squad for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League opener at Hearts.
Well have agreed a fee with Celtic for winger Jim O'Brien and hope to complete his signing in time for him to feature, while 21-year-old Blackburn goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen is also expected to sign.
Motherwell have Brian McLean (knee) out but everyone else is available.
O'Brien, 20, has been training and playing with the Fir Park club during pre-season after rejecting a new contract offer from Celtic.
McGhee said: "We have agreed something with Celtic and we will be speaking to Jim's representative. I have tried already this morning. "If we can do a deal there then Jim should sign today and be available for us tomorrow."
Well have passed up on the chance to sign Gambia defender Seyfo Soley but is pursuing an interest in Togo international Souleymane Mamam, a former Royal Antwerp midfielder.
"He is still here," McGhee said. "We like him but we have not made our mind up about a deal."
