IF YOU melt at the sight of a wet nose and a wagging tail, take advantage of the fact that it's National Pet Month until May 5, an ideal opportunity to pamper your pooch and do your bit to encourage responsible pet ownership.
To mark the 18th birthday of the annual event, a series of workshops and competitions are running, aimed at promoting proper pet care, celebrating working animals and championing veterinary care.
