Janey Godley: On the fringe of previewing a show I’ve never put on paper

I WAS booked to perform the first preview of my Edinburgh Fringe show in Corby last week. It was my first time in Corby, though I already knew it’s got a huge Glaswegian population.
So there was no surprise when I met the locals (all resplendent in their Rangers football tops) and heard them all natter away in the bar of the club where I was gigging. It was like being back in Glasgow. I couldn’t believe I was only a two-hour car...
