HEAR the expression "well-groomed" at Wimbledon, and it will refer to the courts, not the players. When commentators say "it's end-to-end stuff", they're not talking applications of hair serum. When it comes to style and beauty at the tennis championship, there have mostly been horrors at which I could out-grunt the heaviest of back-court hitters. Yet for all of these reasons, the fuss over fashion this week is a good thing.
