We Fell To Earth

***

In Stereo IS001 £11.74
AN intriguing combination featuring UNKLE's Rich File and Wendy Rae Fowler, who has worked with Mark Lanegan and Queens Of The Stone Age. The common denominator for this unlikely couple is enthusiasm for all things Krautrock, which thankfully does not mean endless synth loops for exclusive use on car stereos. Spin This Town does, however, slam into full-on bass gear and set course for the horizon. Instead we get a desert spin on the genre, heat-shimmering guitar on Lights Out like a shootout in a heat haze.
