AS PART of an assignment for The Bonham hotel in Edinburgh, photographer and duty manager Tilo Stengal was asked to take iconic images of the
capital. He went to North Queensferry to get a shot of the bridges – "the most exciting view" – but was thwarted by the miserable weather. The 37-year-old took shelter in a café, and was just settling in when the sun burst forth – so he dashed out to capture this shot.
Can you do better than this? We are looking for the best amateur photography in Scotland. The choice of subject – people, industry, nature, scenery – doesn't matter.
