THIS photograph was taken just after dark on a crisp November night. "I had already stopped on the road and snapped a few things," says Patsy, "but I found this moon quite breathtaking." Describing herself as a "daft granny", Patsy, also a writer, says, "I never go anywhere without my camera, notebook and pen. My knowledge of photography is limited – I just know what I like and try to capture it."
Can you do better than this? We are looking for the best amateur photography in Scotland. The choice of subject – people, industry, nature, scenery – doesn't matter. The pictures just have to be eye-catching.
