"SPENDING the 'tattie' holidays at Southerness, near Dumfries, was a family tradition," says Marean Johnstone, of Coalburn, South Lanarkshire, "and last year it was repeated with the next generation." This picture was taken while grandson Adam and his friend Laura paddled on an unusually balmy October day. It involved "no fancy camera and no posing", she says, "just a spontaneous photograph".
Can you do better than this? We are looking for the best amateur photography in Scotland. The choice of subject – people, industry, nature, scenery – doesn't matter. The pictures just have to be eye-catching.
