THIS photo of the yacht Adix was taken just off Gourock Pier in June. "She was on the Clyde during the weekend when the Fife-designed yachts returned to the river," says George McDonald, who has just completed an HNC in photography at Reid Kerr College, in Paisley. The photo is part of a calendar he has produced for Ardgowan Hospice, in Greenock.
Can you do better than this? We are looking for the best amateur photography in Scotland. The choice of subject – people, industry, nature, scenery – doesn't matter. The pictures just have to be eye-catching.
