Wetherston grabs Queens winner

QUEEN of the South moved up to second place in the Irn-Bru First Division after David Wetherston scored three minutes from time in a 1-0 win over Ross County at Palmerston Park last night.
Both teams had penalty claim turned down before Wetherston fired home a powerful shot from 18 yards to give Gordon Chisholm's side all three points in the game which had been rearranged due to Queens' Uefa Cup commitments.

With ten points from five games, Queens are ahead of Dundee on goal difference.
