A MOSTLY impressive Caley Thistle display was tainted by defensive slackness.
The SPL side were two goals up within 25 minutes through midfielder Don Cowie and Ian Black.

Saints cut the lead when Steven Milne muscled on to a long ball, but the hosts re-established their advantage after 72 minutes through Andy Barrowman.

Milne again struck back for Saints before Rory McAllister's goal sealed the win for the Highlanders.
