WITH T in The Park finally here tomorrow, we'll soon be remembering the things we put up with for the love of music – filthy toilets, foregoing our bathroom pampering and living with greasy hair.
These pitfalls make up just some of our top ten festival frustrations, according to research for the O2 Wireless Festival. After all, keeping clean and looking good is no mean feat during a festival stopover – especially when portable loos and compac
t mirrors are our only option. But you can look – and feel – your best at T in the Park 2008 with an SOS kit that will see you through the festival season.

Use multi-purpose products such as wipes, above, that double up as both face cleansers and an instant shower to keep you feeling fresh and clean. Try Johnson's Baby Skincare Travel Wipes (£1.39, Boots), Cuticura Hand Hygiene Gel (£1.29, Boots), Champneys Super Calm Rescue Balm (£5), Korres Watermelon Tinted Moisturiser with SPF30 (£18) and Ms Manicure 4-in-1 File n Buff Keychain (£1.99, Boots).

Then make sure you smell sweet. Sometimes daily showering is just not an option at festivals.

But Hed Kandi Twisted Disco Body Fragrance (£2.49, Superdrug), Dove Go Fresh Touch Cucumber & Green Tea Roll-on (£1.69), Apothia Velvet Rope pure perfume oil roll-on (£32) and Clean Shower Fresh (£26, Harvey Nichols) will do the job for you instead.

Taking the entire contents of your make-up bag will not do – nor will going au naturel, unless you're blessed with gorgeous genes. The trick is to pack light and pack compact. Opt for a tinted moisturiser with an SPF to moisturise, protect and give a hint of colour. Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser (£32, Space NK), Chanteceille's Just Skin (£52, Space NK) and Murad's Oil-Free Sun Block Sheer Tint (£16.50) are all hero products.

Then add colour and contour to eyes, cheeks, lips and temples with a cream blush in peach or bronze. NARS, Bobbi Brown, No 17, Rimmel and Clinique do some of the best.

When the heat is on, stay hydrated, fresh and cool with a facial spritz. Neal's Yard Frankincense hydrating facial mist (£9) rejuvenates and leaves skin smoother and exotically scented. Natura Bisse Diamond Mist (£50, Space NK) is a luxurious awakening mist that will keep you partying all night long. It absorbs quickly into the skin to improve circulation, combat dehydration and protect skin.

HERO PRODUCT: Simply add these marine salt and seaweed extract crystals to a bath of hot water and enjoy a rejuvenating – and detoxing – bathing experience. The Space NK Spa Seaweed Bath Crystals (£18) are one of the best around.

THE NEXT BIG THING: Slimthru. The natural weight management product, which contains palm oil and oat oil emulsion, helps reduce calorie intake without hunger pangs. Available from Boots, priced £12.95.
