Johnson back as Everton beaten
STRIKER Andrew Johnson completed 90 minutes on his return from a groin injury as Everton lost 4-2 to Cambridge United.
Youngster Lukas Jutkiewicz scored both Everton's goals but David Moyes' side are still looking for their first win of pre-season as an Andrew Parkinson double and goals from Robbie Wilmott and Mark Beesley secured the win for the home side.
Summer recruit Aaron Ramsey made his Arsenal debut as a young side beat Barnet 2-1 at Underhill.
First-term regulars Manuel Almunia, Gael Clichy, Justin Hoyte, Bacary Sagna, Denilson, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner also featured in a side that trailed 1-0 at the break to a Kenny Gillet goal. Jay Simpson and Nacer Barazite goals gave the Gunners victory.
