NEWTONMORE are on course for their first trophy in six years after they defeated Fort William 5-3 in yesterday's MacAulay Cup semi-final.
In an epic encounter at the Eilean, Norman MacArthur's men triumphed after extra time.

After felling holders Kingussie in the quarter-final and now Fort William, no one could accuse Newtonmore of doing it the easy way.

They will face Inveraray on August 26 at Oban after the Argyll side defeated Kyles in Tighnabruaich.

The match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes and 1-1 after extra time before Inveraray edged it 1-0 on penalties.
