EDINBURGH Monarchs rider Thomas Jonasson has suffered bleeding on his brain after a high-speed shunt racing in Sweden on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old Swede, who has an average of 7.02 points after 12 matches with the Armadale-based club, is now resting at home. He missed Friday's Premier League win over Stoke and last night's return in the Potteries.

Monarchs, who are third in the table, three points behind pace-setters Somerset Rebels, entertain last year's Premier League champions, Rye House Rockets, on Friday.
